On May 26, the Johns Hopkins Nurses’ Alumni Association sponsored a Pinning Ceremony for the May 2010 graduates. It was a wonderful event, which included family members this year, in response to student feedback from previous pinning ceremonies. The class presentation was very moving and will provide great memories in the future. Well done, Class of 2010!
Mark your calendars for Alumni Weekend—September 24 and 25. We look forward to seeing our nursing colleagues from Johns Hopkins and Church Home, no matter what year you graduated.
We heard loud and clear that the alumni news needed to stay in the magazine—and it’s back. Please continue to send your updates to your class reporter or Melinda Rose at [email protected]. We want to include alumni news from all the schools’ present and past programs including Diploma, BS, MSN, DNP, and PhD. (I want to sincerely apologize for missing a category of these graduates in our previous announcement.) Keep in touch, stay connected, and keep the Alumni office updated with your current information.
In Vigilando, we are going to continue giving updates on our journey to increase the engagement of the nursing alumni. This issue, Sue Verrillo, Chair of the Membership Committee, gives us a call to action and shares the exciting ways alumni are being engaged and connected. For that, we are truly grateful.
