According to the “Top Research Universities Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index,” the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON) has joined the highest ranks of faculty achievement among nursing schools nationwide.

The Index, published by the Chronicle of Higher Education, ranks schools and disciplines within the schools based on the productivity of each PhD faculty member: books published, journal publications, citations of journal articles, federal-grant dollars awarded, and honors and awards.

Although the School has a smaller faculty than most included in this ranking, the high productivity of those holdng a PhD allowed JHUSON to rank 6th.
