According to Johns Hopkins School of Nursing PhD Candidate Katie Spearman, there is no risk assessment tool that assesses a child’s risk of lethality or danger after separation. Through her research, Spearman is seeking to improve risk assessment and intervention for children exposed to domestic violence.
