And assistant professors Carmen Alvarez, PhD, RN, CRNP, CNM and Yvonne Commodore Mensah, PhD, MHS, RN, FAHA, FPCNA have a mentor in common, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor Lisa Cooper.

Lisa Cooper, MD, MPH holds joint appointments in the Johns Hopkins schools of nursing, public health and medicine. She has an extensive record of mentoring over 50 health care professionals across a variety of disciplines.
