The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health will host the 2018 Global Health Day on March 29, 2018. The Center for Global Health is a collaborative effort of the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Nursing, Medicine, and Public Health; the day is also sponsored by the School of Public Health’s MPH Program.

Global Health Day is a celebration of student and faculty work around the world. The program will include a keynote address from Dr. Raj Panjabi, who is the CEO of Last Mile Health and an Associate Physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The program will also include a student poster presentation, where MSN/MPH student Rachel Kennedy’s research will be featured. Kennedy adapted an American app intervention for domestic violence for women in low & middle income countries
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Center for Global Initiatives offers students a range of opportunities to study internationally; coursework emphasizes interdisciplinary problem-solving that addresses the social, economic, and political factors that impact health systems. The Center also hosts an International Scholars program that allows students around the world to study here with us.
