What Is a Hopkins Nurse?

I started my nursing career in pediatric rehabilitation at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. While working full-time night shift, I completed the part-time Health Systems Management Track, and earned my MSN. After graduation, I completely switched gears—leaving my position as a bedside nurse and entering the research field. Now, I work as a senior research nurse at Johns Hopkins University specializing in Alzheimer’s and memory loss research. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of attending several alumni events. It is so empowering to meet fellow nurses who have successful and exciting careers in varying nursing fields, and I am incredibly proud to be a Hopkins Nurse.
