Fourth-annual event another bright night for Hopkins Nursing

Everybody wins when the brightest lights of Johns Hopkins Nursing gather, and the fourth-annual edition of An Evening with the Stars on Saturday, September 26, was a classic example. In a festively packed auditorium as well as a cozy courtyard tent on a cool autumn evening, alumni, students, faculty, staff, nurses from across the Hopkins system, and friends of the school mingled, clinked glasses together, and shared stories of nursing today and yesterday.

It was a second shift as master of ceremonies for Candace Dold of Fox 45, who spoke of Johns Hopkins’ “miracle workers—people of courage, compassion, and great dedication.” (Her brother James is a nurse.)

In four years, the event has become a crowning finale for Alumni Weekend at the School of Nursing. Without further ado, the 2015 Shining Stars (quotes from nomination forms):
