In November 2012, as part of a decorating contest, nine teams of Hopkins Nursing students, alumni, faculty, and staff received art supplies and surplus wooden chairs bearing the Maltese Cross, symbol of the School’s alumni association. The cool and crazy chairs they created -including the winner, pictured to the right–will be auctioned off in September to support the Melinda Rose Fund, which provides opportunities for alumni and students to come together. The online auction will begin Tuesday, September 3 and end Saturday, September 28 (the final day of Alumni Weekend 2013).
